"Redeeming this journey is a reminder of how grateful I am for the gift of having special people in my life so we can learn from each other and grow together."—Cintia H. Orsi
What does willingness have to do with it?
Sometimes, the world wants us to believe that we should only engage when we feel happy or intentional. Is that really so? I challenge that all the time. Based on my own experience and listening to clients’ experiences, we know that in reality, regardless of whether one is driven by joy or not, the opportunities and gifts of any experience will eventually come. Your mindset and attitude in that particular situation and afterward will have a significant impact on the consequences and on how you remember it. Willingness has everything to do with it.
From Active to Passive Voice: intentionally shifting the focus
Have you ever noticed that, depending on how you set up your grammar corrector, it “corrects” a passive voice sentence by suggesting that you rewrite it in an active voice? I wondered what would happen if everyone started following this suggestion without pausing and reflecting on whether that is a change they want to make.
What would we miss by changing from a passive voice to an active voice?
Boundaries dilemma: a symbiotic tale
I invite you to stop here, step back, and zoom out to check the parallels with your relationships. Are they respectful, supportive, and helping you thrive? If not, check the boundaries of this relationship. Is there anything that needs adjustment? It is a long journey, so do not despair. Let's walk one step at a time. What is your first step?
The Restoring Power of a Wonder Walk
Have you ever felt the need to stop what you were doing to go for a walk in the woods?
If you are highly sensitive, this may resonate with you. The wonders we encounter while walking are nurturing, whether alone or in good company. We are allowed to witness beauty and complexity free of social pressure. I mean, the pressure society imposes on us humans. While we tend to escape, nature finds a way to manage the pressure; and thrive on it.
A letter to express my gratitude to The Learning Farm
“I thought that the program was super motivating and inspiring. I loved all of the creative activities and projects that we did and how they all had meanings and messages behind why we were doing them. I also really liked how the program was very engaging and fun!” Kalia C., CIT, Counselor-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021
"To look inside me, what moved me and how I made it all move inside me, it was a difficult task to do on my own. It was a difficult weight to carry on by myself. Through the coaching process with Cintia, who with all her technique, empathy, and professionalism, guided me and made me reflect on these issues. I allowed myself to self-development."
