Dear Learning Farm Folks,

I want to express my deep gratitude for the opportunity to lead the 5-weeks group coaching experience for the counselors-in-training, CITs, and the leaders-in-training, LITs, as part of the STEAM in Nature Summer Program at The Learning Farm. It was incredible!

I am humbly grateful to learn from the CITs and LITs, co-creating creative learning experiences and co-creating spaces for deep sharing and learning. CITs and LIT, you are amazing!

Each week was different from the previous one, expressing the uniqueness of each group and the individuals' strengths and interests. I am forever grateful to witness the beautiful journey from uniqueness and individual strengths to collective diversity and team building.

Being close to nature, moving from niche to niche, around all the spaces, we shared the nature metaphors while discovering and exploring our growth and development as individuals and understanding our place in society. What a unique place!

Also, as the mom of 3 of the summer campers, I am delighted to share my appreciation for such great learnings and memories created!

Much love,

Here is what campers said about their experience:

“I thought that the program was super motivating and inspiring. I loved all of the creative activities and projects that we did and how they all had meanings and messages behind why we were doing them. I also really liked how the program was very engaging and fun!”

—Kalia C., CIT, Counselor-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021

“Well, In my opinion, Cintia is a great teacher and a great friend and you get to do so many fun and wonderful things in her group and the learning farm itself. With Cintia, you get to learn about equality and equity and teamwork and yourself. It’s very fun and I would really advise you to go. Have fun and learn new things. Let me get a round of applause for Cintia! :)”

— Anonymous LIT, Leader-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021

“I don’t recommend you stopping what you do. You are amazing!”

— M.B., LIT, Leader-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021

“I loved the way that Cintia weaved in serious topics into fun and interesting activities. I loved how she was able to explain real-world problems through horrific/beautiful examples. It is an amazing experience and it has changed my perception of the world around me. I’ve had a truly wonderful time, and have learned so much.

— S.L., LIT, Leader-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021

“If you are interested in gaining experience leading children and becoming a role model, you should look into this program.”

— Anonymous CIT, Counselor-in-Training, STEAM in Nature Summer Program 2021

“There’s this really cool camp called the Learning Farm and every day from 2 to 5 they have this really awesome, sweet, and funny person come in. Their name is Cintia! (I don’t remember if I asked for preferred pronouns so I am using they/their) Cintia is a life coach and teaches the CITs and LITs about leadership. You learn a lot of things and do a lot of teamwork exercises which are super fun! You get to make terrariums and learn the difference between equity and equality. You can make plays/skits. There are so many great things so go and sign up! Right now! Go Go Go Go!!!! :D”
