In today's context, I call creativity and innovation wonders and point out how our fast-paced and efficiency-driven society prevents us from being creative and innovative. I make bread but can't say I am a baker because I rarely follow recipes. This week, we had a massive turn in the weather, humidity, and pressure. I assume that was part of why my dough did not rise overnight as usual. If I had not had time, I would have baked it as it was. It might have turned out okay. But I had some time and used it. I added more flour to the dough, kneaded, and opened thin ribbons that I rolled with Parmesan cheese (similar to croissants). Then, thinking the children would enjoy it, why not bake it in a fun shape? Flowers are my kind of fun. With the rest of the dough, I made small pizza sheets. Time allowed me to be creative and innovative. Time also allows us to be available to others needing our presence or encouragement. How do you use your time? My clients use different names for those crucial times: Me Time, TTT (time to think), Prayer Time, Time to Meditate, Time to Contemplate, and Time to Give, among others.
