Another stop this week. A pause that affected many and reminded us to go to the balcony to see a bigger picture. Differences and privilege. Snow storm, snow day(s). We are privileged to have the forecast and warnings ahead of time. We prepare, we find shelter, stay safe. That is not true in many other parts of the world, and not always snow. For example, in Brazil, a tropical country, the devastating news is rain, storms, and flood. Sometimes no warnings, no energy, limited resources for a fast recovery.
